International Day at ELIT

All the students at ELIT were invited to contribute to an International Day. This involved bringing to the school power point presentations on their country and of course a sample of their national dish. It was a wonderful day and with 39 nationalities represented, for the first time so many students were able to have a 'taste' of another culture. It was a wonderful day and everyone went home with a full stomach!!

A FAMILIAR FACE LEAVES US

Lisa Pagnoux and well liked teacher at ELIT Language Centre is moving on after two years of being with us. Her dedication to the students and the school as a whole and her great sense of humour will be sadly missed. We wish her all the best.

ELIT are now Representing Local and Foreign Universities

ELIT are pleased to announce that they are now also acting as an agent for local and foreign universities and language centres. The foreign countries include New Zealand, Australia, United States and the United Kingdom.

School Trip to Morib Beach

Take a look at the pics from the day out at the plantation, factory and Morib beach. Included was a banana leaf lunch and a sunset barbecue dinner. All students were asked to speak English throughout the day, and most succeeded. It was a great opportunity to see more of Malaysia than KL and it's highrise buildings.

The plantation, factory and Morib Beach are an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur, with the beach being well known for it's beautiful sunsets and barbecues at the local restaurants. Many students played football on the beach and played games well into the evening, with the bus finally arriving back at the Language Centre at midnight. Much thanks needs to go to Martina for organising the whole trip.

A Supermarket Trip

The Upper Intermediate 3 Class took a trip to KLCC Cold Storage Supermarket and explored the English used for shopping for groceries.

A New Name - ELIT LANGUAGE CENTRE!!

We are proud to announce that as from the 15th October we officially changed our name to ELIT Language Centre. I am sure you will agree that this is a much easier name to remember, plus it represents what we do, English Language and Information Technology.

Everything else in the school is the same, same teachers, same management, same addess, same owners, just a new name.
